MID AUTUMN 2012
Periodically, at mid autumn of this year, the Executive Committees of Trade Union and the Youth Union’s branch of A&C have visited Buu Lien pagoda in Lam Ha District, Lam Dong Province to hold the variety festival “Night of feast” and to deliver gifts to children.
Children from remote regions have come early to join physical games with the elders. They have played very enthusiastically and happily. All children have received cakes and candies from the elders who led the games.
After joining physical games, the children have enjoyed the lion dances and participated in the festival “Night of feast” held by A&C.
The beginning part is the speeches of Buddhist nun Thich Nu Hanh An and Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Hang - Vice chairwoman of A&C’s Trade Union. The following part includes singing items related to mid autumn such as the songs: Star lantern, Little frog, a potpourri of whistled songs. The young people have sung and danced enthusiastically, bringing interesting performance to the children.

The next is the most special part of festival “Night of feast”. The children have had a chance to enjoy the comedy “Moon boy and Phoebe in modern time” performed by A&C’s young people.

The last part of festival “Night of feast” is the delivery of gifts to the children. The children are very happy to receive gifts from A&C’s young people. More than 700 children received meaningful gifts.

Hoping that the Executive Committee of Trade Union’s cell and Youth Union’s branch of A&C can hold a lot of such meaningful programs for children from remote regions in the future, bringing smiles and happiness to unlucky children meeting difficulties in their lives.
