VACPA successfully organized 15^th Anniversary (2005-2020) and 5^th Congress (2020-2025) on 15 October 2020 in Hanoi.

The event welcomed Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr. Bui Dang Dung - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for Finance and Budget, Mr. Vu Nhu Thang - Vice Chairman in charge of the National Financial Supervisory Commission, Mr. Nghiem Vu Khai - Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), Ms. Tran Thi Lan Anh - Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and delegates from governmental agencies, local and international professional accountancy organizations (PAOs), universities and nearly 300 members from audit firms nationwide.

The delegation of A&C Auditing and Consulting Co., Ltd. attending the Ceremony and the Congress consisted of Executive Officers and Senior Leaders from the Head Office in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Nha Trang and Can Tho Branches, all gathered in Hanoi for this special and meaningful event of VACPA.

Mr. Pham Sy Danh – VACPA President delivered the opening speech

Mr. Pham Sy Danh - VACPA President gave the speech on VACPA’s 15-year journey, in which its achievement, appreciation and recognition by the Government, local and international professional organizations, enterprises and the society were specified.

5^th Congress (2020-2025) discussed the Report “Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) with dynamical and professional operation, strong expansion, sustainable development for the benefits of members and professional community”, evaluated the Association’s performance in the 4^th term and set up the orientation, objectives and duties of VACPA for the 5^th term, which was submitted by the 4^th Executive Board. The Congress also passed the Resolution of the Congress as a guideline for the operation of VACPA in the period 2020-2025.

The Executive Board with 25 members, Inspection Board with 5 members for the 5th term were selected by the VACPA’s members. Mr. Pham Sy Danh was re-elected as the 5^th President. Mr. Vo Hung Tien – A&C’s CEO and Mr. Ly Quoc Trung – A&C’s Partner hold the positions of the 5^th Vice President in charge of the Southern region and the 5^th Deputy Chief of Inspection Board respectively.

At the Congress, A&C was honored to be one of 06 auditing firms awarded Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Finance for contributions to the development of Vietnamese independent auditing. A&C was also honored to be awarded the Certificate of Merit by the VCCI’s President for outstanding achievements in operations, positive contribution to the socio-economic development and Vietnamese business community.

A&C is very happy that 15^th Anniversary (2005-2020) & 5^th Congress (2020-2025) of the VACPA have been successfully.

We wish VACPA more and more sustainable development, continuously improving the value of the independent audit in Vietnam.
