A&C Auditing and Consulting Company Limited and the Accounting Faculty of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

 

In the afternoon of 12 May 2023, the Accounting Faculty of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony with A&C Auditing and Consulting Co., Ltd. (Baker Tilly A&C) and 2023 business forum with the theme "Accounting and auditing trends in the new era – What you need to prepare".

The ceremony welcomed the attendance of Baker Tilly A&C’s representatives including Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh - Deputy General Director, Ms. Tran Pham Mai Anh – Admin and HR Director and Mr. Hoang Thai Vuong – Audit Director and the representatives of the Accounting Faculty of Ton Duc Thang University including  Dr. Le Thi My Hanh - Dean of Accounting Faculty, Mr. Phan Hoai Vu - Head of Accounting Department 2, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong - Head of Accounting Department 3 and lecturers and 300 students of the Accounting Faculty.

The objective of the Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony is to strengthen the cooperation between the Accounting Faculty of Ton Duc Thang University and Baker Tilly A&C in training and utilizing human resources. The scope of cooperation of the two parties under the MOU includes: (1) Implementation of internship and apprenticeship programs; (2) Recruitment; and (3) Vocational and skill development programs.

Accordingly, the Accounting Faculty of Ton Duc Thang University and Baker Tilly A&C will also come to an agreement on implementation of internship program, recruitment of interns, graduated students of the Accounting Faculty and other programs in career orientation, training and skill development for students at Ton Duc Thang University and at Baker Tilly A&C’s office.

The MOU signing ceremony was followed by the Business Forum with the theme "Accounting and auditing trends in the new era – What you need to prepare". Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh - Deputy General Director of Baker Tilly A&C shared with the students of the Accounting Faculty of Ton Duc Thang University about what will be up in doing accounting and auditing jobs, in the context that the world is changing rapidly in all aspects, how the strong development of technology affects the profession and what students need to do to prepare for the future. In this business forum, Mr. Hoang Thai Vuong – Audit Director of Baker Tilly A&C also had sharing about necessary professional and technical skills as well as soft skills that students need to be equipped for accounting and auditing profession in the current context.

The presentations of the two speakers from Baker Tilly A&C received appreciation, enthusiastic response and interaction from the students and the lecturers of the Accounting Faculty of Ton Duc Thang University. After helpful and informative presentations, the two speakers got many interesting questions around career goals and necessary skills for good performance in the accounting and auditing profession in the future.

On this occasion, Ms. Tran Pham Mai Anh – Admin and HR Director also answered many questions about internship and recruitment programs in the coming time, culture as well as working environment at Baker Tilly A&C.

To summarize the forum, Dr. Le Thi My Hanh - Dean of Accounting Faculty expressed her belief that the cooperation between the two parties will have a sustainable and better cooperation in the future, open up more opportunities for partnership in training and recruitments.
