Baker Tilly A&C Organized Blood Donation Day

Embracing a high a sense of social responsibility and a desire to spread good community values, on 20 November 2024, Baker Tilly A&C organized the blood donation day "One Drop of Blood Donated, One Life Saved" at its head office located at No. 2 Truong Son Street, Ward 2, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from many staff across departments and functions, as well as local residents at Ward 2 and staff from companies with offices at the same building and surrounding area.

Many Baker Tilly A&C staff were present at the office early in the morning and got ready for blood donation. The volunteers got health checks and blood pressure measurements by medical staff to ensure they were ready for a safe and smooth blood donation. Some staff shared that it was their first time donating blood and they felt proud to make a contribution to the community.

Mr. Vu Nghia Hiep, Secretary of the Youth Union at Baker Tilly A&C and Head of the Organizing Committee for this blood donation program, stated:
"Blood is a uniquely valuable treatment that can only be donated by compassionate hearts, a deep sense of love and responsibility toward the community. Blood donation is one of our company’s annual activities aimed at making a small but meaningful contribution to the collective efforts of community to increase survival opportunities for patients in need of blood transfusions. We will continue this meaningful program in the future."

According to statistics, the program received over 150 registrations and collected 120 units of blood. This blood will be delivered to the Red Cross - Humanitarian Blood Donation Center to provide timely treatment to patients in critical conditions.
