Looking back at the Workshop

On the morning of 16 November 2024, the Faculty of Accounting, School of Business - UEH University successfully organized a workshop with the theme: "IT general control audit", with the enthusiastic attendance of nearly 130 senior students majoring in accounting and auditing.

The workshop was moderated by Dr. Le Vu Ngoc Thanh, Head of the Auditing Subject, Faculty of Accounting, School of Business - UEH University and featured the participation of speaker Chau Thanh Tai, CISA, PMP - Senior Manager, Digital Trust Services, MIS & Training at Baker Tilly A&C

The seminar brought a lot of useful knowledge and practical value to the attending students by proving them with important concepts and understanding about the roles of IT general control in the modern business environment. At the same time, Mr. Chau Thanh Tai also presented in detail the implementation process and necessary steps applicable in the IT application control audit program.

Throughout the workshop, students were guided step by step to participate in a realistic simulation situation, thereby helping them have a clear view of the IT general control audit process in the business environment.

The workshop took place in a lively and inspiring atmosphere, from the presentation of the speaker to the enthusiastic questions and feedback from the students. Mr. Chau Thanh Tai not only imparted professional knowledge but also shared many interesting and practical stories about the profession, helping students have a clearer and more realistic view of the IT audit.

The workshop ended with satisfaction from the students and the promise of more in-depth discussions in the future. This is a valuable opportunity for students to expand their knowledge, orient their careers and develop themselves in the field of auditing and information systems control.
