Baker Tilly A&C Participates in the ICFE 2025 International Conference at Ton Duc Thang University: Accompanying academia with the topic “ESG for Vietnamese Businesses: From Principles to Practices”.

From September 23 to 25, 2025, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh – General Director of A&C Consulting Co., Ltd. – was invited as a guest speaker at the 9th International Conference on Finance and Economics (ICFE 2025) themed “Innovating Business Analytics for a Sustainable Future.” The conference, hosted by Ton Duc Thang University in collaboration with Tomas Bata University (Czech Republic), Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic), University of the West of England – Bristol (UK), and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW, UK), gathered over 300 participants including professors, experts, researchers, lecturers, and business leaders in the fields of finance, accounting, economics, and management.

In his presentation titled “ESG for Vietnamese Businesses: From Principles to Practices,” Mr. Thanh shared practical insights into the implementation of ESG within Vietnamese enterprises. His contributions provided valuable perspectives on the pivotal role of the accounting and auditing profession in promoting sustainable business practices and advancing ESG integration across industries in Vietnam.

From a practical viewpoint, his session also highlighted the challenges and opportunities Vietnamese businesses face when transitioning from ESG principles to actionable practices, as well as the importance of developing accounting and auditing professionals equipped with strong ESG knowledge to meet global integration requirements.
