Baker Tilly A&C welcome students from University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) in 2024 Office Tour

On 06 September 2024, Baker Tilly A&C’s Head Office in Ho Chi Minh City welcomed more than 80 students majoring in Corporate Accounting, Accounting Faculty, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City to participate in 2024 Office Tour program.

This year’s Office Tour was organized on the basis of the cooperation between UEH and Baker Tilly A&C to provide the students of Accounting Faculty with chances to visit and learn and observe the working environment and on-site work at an audit firm as well as receive useful sharing about the profession, working processes and other information in relation to future career orientation.

With the designed objectives of this Office Tour, in the first part, the students listened to an overview sharing about history, organizational structure, services, working environment, culture and people at Baker Tilly A&C from Mr. Nguyen Minh Tri - Deputy General Director and Head of Training Board. On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tri also introduced Baker Tilly A&C’s internal training programs and annual recruitment programs.

Mr. Hoang Thai Vuong – Audit Director talking about auditing profession

In the second part, Mr. Hoang Thai Vuong - Audit Director and Ms. Pham Huynh Anh Thu - Senior Audit Manager, who are UEH alumni and have been with Baker Tilly A&C for many years, had a very sincere discussion with students about a helpful and practical topic: “What is interesting about the auditing profession?”. Thanks to this discussion, the students had a broader view of auditing profession, what’s funs and what’s challenges in doing audit jobs. At the same time, students also got to know about the auditing tools and processes currently applied at Baker Tilly A&C.

At the end of the tour, the students visited and experienced working stations and learnt about Baker Tilly A&C’s environment and culture.

2024 Office Tour at Baker Tilly A&C left the students of Accounting Faculty, UEH unforgettable memories and gave them with lots of practical and helpful experience about  accounting - auditing profession as well as professional, disciplined, serious but equally joyful, youthful and dynamic working culture and style at one of the leading auditing and consulting firms in Vietnam.
